Strawberry Creek Walk, part of the Watershed Environmental Poetry Festival, poetry, talk, and easy walk along beautiful Strawberry Creek through UC Berkeley and its underground path, in a culvert, through downtown Berkeley to the Watershed Festival at Civic Center Park, led by Nevada City poet/eco-educator Chris Olander, with poetry readings by Iris Jamahl Dunkle, Joan Gelfand, Maya Khosla, eco-dance by Sharon Coleman in the eucalyptus grove, and commentary by a naturalist; presented by Poetry Flash and the Ecology Center, 100 Thousand Poets for Change event, meet in the Cypress Grove, often called the Redwood Grove (southeast corner of Oxford at Center, near the sculpture of the World Globe as you enter the UC campus) free, 10:00 a.m. (510/525-5476, info@poetryflash.org)
