Kathryn Roszak's dance-film homage to poet Tomas Tranströmer

Kathryn Roszak's Danse Lumière performs a dance noir, "Schubertiana," featuring Marissa Head, Alisha Ragon, Linnea Snyderman, and actor Earll Kingston, an homage with films and poetry inspired by Nobel Prize-winning Swedish poet Tomas Tranströmer; her new short film based on Tranströmer's poetry, "Secrets," and "Östersjöar," James Wine's film adaptation of Tranströmer's poem, "Baltics," will be screened, Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center, 681 Venice Blvd., Venice, $10 admission, $6 students/seniors, members free, 4:00 (www.beyondbaroque.org)
