Premiere of Anthony Brown's Asian American Orchestra's piece 1945: The Year of Infamy, dedicated to the victims of Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Fukushima, with full jazz orchestra, taiko, bata, and conga drums, guests from VOAD (Voices of the African Diaspora), poets Janice Mirikitani and Genny Lim, in conjunction with the exhibit, 28 Chinese, The Asian Art Museum, Samsung Hall, 200 Larkin Street, San Francisco, free with admission to the museum, 7:00 (www.asianart.org)
