Liegh McInnis, Matters of Reality: Mind, Body, and Soul, Carlton Turner, co-founder of the performing arts group M.U.G.A.B.E.E., Charlie Braxton, Embers Among the Ashes: Poems in a Haiku Manner, Halima J. Olufemi, member of the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement and JXN People's Assembly, and Monica "Surreal the Messenger" Atkins, culture worker, labor organizer, and Director of Organizing for the Climate Justice Alliance membership, hosted by San Francisco Poet Laureate Tongo Eisen-Martin, free, online, 6:00-7:30 pm PDT (Register to attend: sfpl.org/events/2021/05/26/performance-poetry-and-resistance)
