Performance artist Hanna Meleokaiao Ayasse and visual artist Casey Gardner

"Upon a Phrase: A Matchbook Performance," by Counter Pulse and San Francisco Center for the Book, a multidisciplinary collaboration between performance artist Hanna Meleokaiao Ayasse and visual artist Casey Gardner, in conjunction with the current exhibition at San Francisco Center for the Book, Reclamation; collected works of Gardner will be displayed for the audience to read and touch, the audience will choose phrases from the books that will be used by Ayasse for an improvised performance in the parking lot; there will be a discussion following the performance with drinks and light snacks provided, attendance for this event is capped at 35 people max, free, San Francisco Center for the Book, 375 Rhode Island Street, San Francisco, 7:00-8:30 pm PDT (Visit: www.eventbrite.com/e/upon-a-phrase-a-matchbook-performance-tickets-166557334471)
