The Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at UC Berkeley presents "Poetry in a Time of War: Voices from Ukraine and Russia," a reading featuring poets Polina Barskova, The Lamentable City, Lyn Hejinian, My Life, Ostap Kin, Eugene Ostashevsky, The Pirate Who Does Not Know the Value of Pi, Katharina Raabe, and Maria Stepanova, The Flower Dies under a Skin of Glass, all work will be read in the original languages as well as English; this is a hybrid in-person and online event in two free sessions, the first is on Zoom, 11:30 am PDT, the second is in-person at the Maude Fife Room, 315 Wheeler Hall, UC Berkeley campus, 5:30 pm PDT (Register to attend: www.ghi-dc.org/events/event/date/poetry-in-a-time-of-war-voices-from-ukraine-and-russia-session-2)
