Black Gold Storytellers presents a reading and panel discussion honoring the labor of Black elders in Oakland, and honoring their work toward earning labor rights such as the forty-hour work week, safe work conditions, and sick leave, five Bay Area storytellers will share labor and migration stories, featuring poet Karla Brundage, writer and artist Alie Jones, poet Audrey T.
