Bay Area Book Festival is an annual literary event featuring keynotes, panels, interviews, and readings; critical conversations with top authors and thought leaders; indigenous authors showcase; author Q&As and book signings, headliners for the weekend festival include Joan Baez in conversation with Greg Sarris, Naomi Klein, and Ayana Elizabeth Johnson at various venues in downtown Berkeley, times to be announced on their website; Sunday is the only day for the Outdoor Book Exhibits by publications, presses, and literary organizations, Poetry Flash and Manic D Press will have a booth, come by and say hello, Martin Luther King, Jr. Civic Center Park, Berkeley, free, 11:00 am-5:00 pm PDT (For more information, visit: www.baybookfest.org/2024festival)
